What do Moroccan Men wear on Friday?
Morocco is a rich country in terms of history, traditions, people, culture, religion, climate, geography and so forth. Every one of these aspects of the country influences how Moroccan people are dressed. Among the variety of clothes in Morocco, we find the djellaba, Gandora and Jabadore, three fine garments that speak of the luxurious clothing style of the country. Men usually wear a djellaba on Friday prayer and special occasions, sometimes topped with the famous Moroccan red cap, called a fez or tarbouche, and yellow leather slippers, known as baboush or beluga. The Gandora is incredibly comfortable, and meant to be worn loosely; it is perfect for special occasion or worn casually at home. Jabador is a combination of pant and shirt set, usually in matching fabric. Moroccan dresses are unique, and made from fine material mostly cotton and linen. Once you experience these garments you will fall in love with it.
